Pastor Scott is a graduate of Willamette University and Western Evangelical Seminary. His many years in the ministry are marked by deep personal devotion to God, that bear fruit in his personal life as well as his service to the church. He is committed to serving people through relationship as well as challenging biblical and relevant teaching.
Barbara is the wife and ministry partner of Pastor Scott. She has a genuine love for music and leading people in worship of the Lord. Her deep love of the Lord and her joy in worship have a great impact on her team, and the whole church each Sunday as we gather.
As someone who benefited from a loving and supportive church community when her own children were young, Laurie has a passion for serving the families in our community. Although she grew up in church, she learns more about her own faith each week as she has the joy of interacting with the children, their parents and her phenomenal volunteers, who are the lifeblood of Valley View's children's ministries.
Michael loves to hang out with the teens just as much as he cares about seeing them grow in their faith. Each week, he and his team bring worship music, Bible teaching, and fun for the kids.
While Don's vast biblical knowledge and life experience are a blessing to our entire staff and congregation, his role on staff is to watch over and minister to our senior citizens. He is a true shepherd at heart as well as a top level Bible teacher.
Because of Cindy's many years serving in many ways at Valley View, she is very much an integral part of the life of our church. Her role as bookkeeper, and her gifts of wisdom and stability are vital to keeping our ministries and our offices functioning at their best.
Kathy handles many of the small details of the office, manages the website, publications, and building rentals. She considers herself more of a people person than an administrator, and enjoys all of her interactions with whoever comes into her office.
